The moon is a mood. It’s light and dark. It transforms through several phases over time.
We gawk at the moon and are in sheer awe of its existence.
It evokes pensiveness for me. I dive into contemplation under the moon. Maybe it’s because I’m a Cancer Sun astrologically or maybe it’s because the moon brings out emotions and feelings for all of us. It is a cosmic wonder.
We have all heard that the ‘crazies’ come out on the full moon. Officers have mentioned there’s an uptick in crime on the full moon. Psych wards tend to become busier during the full moon. I always thought more babies were born on the full moon, but when I had my child my doctors claimed that was a fallacy. I still believe the moon moves us, whether science corroborates this experience or not.
We know it moves the tides of the oceans. We know it effects water. We, as humans, are somewhere between 70% and 80% water so wouldn’t you think we are moved and changed by the moon and its phases as well?
I’m always skeptical due to my engrained beliefs in science and the physicality of our human experience, but there is an innate knowing that we as humans are intimately connected to the cosmos. The sun, moon, and stars are weaved through our being. There is no way around this fact in my felt understanding.
My mind questions this innate understanding only because everything outside me has taught me to believe differently. My family, the media, and the school system have directed me that the parts of us as individuals and the universe as a whole must remain separate. The differences are to be seen and acknowledged and ultimately to be judged.
These underlying societally placed beliefs are slowly changing. Are you one of those individuals starting to recognize this? Are you experiencing this change in your own life – your own being? Are you beginning to notice the shifting in the meaning of your life and its experiences?
In my human 3D experience the past several years, people seem to be awakening to the massive brainwashing done by society. Whether we look to politics, religion, or the media their hold on us appears to be dissipating. As this awakening expands, I wonder how our human experience will change.
Will we find more connection with the cosmos, or will there be other distractions that keep us separate? How will our earthly experience change? There are more questions than answers at this point, but in time we will surely experience the other side of this change.
